The gym makes ya mean?
The other day a client of mine asked Why does she sometimes get angry When training? She was under the impression that exercise took away anger.
I counter that with their is a theory that emotion is tied up in the body. Movement brings that to the forefront so that you can useit or be manipulated by it.
Weighlifting ,running, sparring all have personally help me to navigate through difficult emotional times.
I have always treated physical practice as a type of emotional therapy, the movement
doesn't resolve the emotional stress that I encounter but it does help me address it from a less charged place.
